Sorry to tell you this - the weather is about to turn nasty.... my G-11 is here! Is still unpacked as yet - 4 heavy boxes grace my living room floor - the fun is about to start! :D :D :D
Again - sorry about the rain - it will come......

Forecast for Saturday evening
Isolated showers developing over the southern inland slopes and ranges. Fine elsewhere. Mild north to northwest winds, freshening in the south and becoming strong to gale force over the southern Alps.
Forecast for Sunday
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms with and ahead of a cooler southwest change through southeast and central parts, clearing in the southwest and contracting to the northeast at night. Warm fresh to strong north to northwest winds, gale force over the southern Alps at first, ahead of the change, fresh to strong in the far southeast.
Forecast for Monday
Isolated showers in the northeast, contracting further north during day. Fine elsewhere. Mild to warm southwest to southeast winds, turning east to northeast later.
Forecast for Tuesday
Isolated showers in far northeast. Isolated showers developing in the southwest near a colder fresh southwest change. Showers tending scattered about the southern inland later, with some snow developing on the Alps. Mild to warm north to northwest winds ahead of the change.
Forecast for Wednesday
Cold south to southwest winds extending through most of state, strong to possibly gale force along the south half of the coast. Scattered showers in southeast, with some snow on the southern ranges. Mild at first in the northeast but some late showers developing.

No clouds here, but plenty of smoke smudging the sky.

So thats why all these clouds suddenly appeared.
I set up everything under crystal skies and went in to watch Dr Who and came back out to nothing, even the moon was gone.
On the bright side I can now set set up in under 30 minutes and pack up in 15 minutes, practice makes perfect.
The new mount sounds great
