Depends...
I've found the best way to image comets, at least fast changing ones like 2014 Q2 Lovejoy is to take short total exposures of no more than a few minutes. Depends on how fast they move through the sky. Having a fast scope is a definite advantage.

Depends on focal length but 10 x 60 would be great!
What are you going to shoot it with?

for this i was looking at t13 or t3 at itelescope, which is a sky90 or toa150 with osc camera

Should be fine with either of those.
