Question on LX200GPS Autostar update to 4.2a

Hi all :)

My Autostar II is sitting at v4.01.

I meant to update it to v4.1 which was available on the Meade site as of yesterday. Today I notice that they are offering v4.2a.

My question is do these updates need to be applied sequentially, or will the latest update just go and apply whatever patches are required to get the currently installed version up to the latest realease?

Yes as far as i understand it the latest update or any firmware issued through the LX200gps history if selected will take effect once installed regardless of sequentially. http://www.californiastars.net/lx200gps/tips.html# has some good info on this :)
