Well I have been mucking around again with the LPI aftter a big break of not using it and I had a thought of how to use it as a widefield camera only one thing stood in the way no lens for the LPI , well a little searchin in the shead and I fould my Photgraphic enlagers len in it box it is a F4.5 10 deg FOV 2" focal length.

I thought how am I going to mount it to the LPI and for testing purposes didn't feel like spending any money just in case it didn't work :D so out came the cardboard toilet roll and a bit of sticky tape here's the test rig images 1-3 and some test shots.

Now all I need is a cheap 1 1/4" rack and pinon focuser to mount the lens in.

WOW! What a cool idea Darren!

I want to try different lenses on the front of my Toucam too, but having no Photographic gear I am going to try EP's, focal reducers, anything with a lens in it. Something is bound to work.

Looks like you are on to a winner.
