Hello Everyone.

I need a decent USB hub for my laptop. It will link the ccd, gusb and a Meade dsi2 guide camera. There is so many in the market but I am not really sure which one or type is well suited for astrophotography and the equipment it is meant to operate?
I would be interested in your suggestions and experiences.

I've recently bought a powered Belkin USB 2.0 7 Port hub but won't be able to try it until tomorrow night. I hope to use it to link the guide scope to the laptop and use Voyager to direct the scope through the Synscan handset.

+1 for Belkin. Have both a 4 port and 7 port - they just work. currently using the powered 7 port with an SX main cam, QHY5L2 guider, Sharpsky focuser, Atik filter wheel and EQ8 via EQASCOM, all running flawlessly through the hub.

I have something called mbeat - it's a 7 port powered hub, 4xUSB3, 3xUSB2. Individual on/off buttons on each port.
