When I was a kid as school, we had these small "bags" filled with shot(?) about the size of a hand - for throwing to each other etc.
A similar small weighted flexible bag is used in some libraries to keep larger books open at the correct page.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about????
I can't seem to find anything remotely similar on google/ ebay.
I'm looking for a couple for the library.
Let me know if you can help.

I think that Paul (above) has nailed it Ken.

The ones I remember as a kid had wheat seeds in them.

Archival survival also sell soft leather weights. Google them and then check their catalogue under accessories

Hackie Sacks could be bought at any kids 'ToyStore' once upon a time.
They were the kick about toy.
