Another crazy test I did, 120 shots of 30 seconds at ISO3200 with the Sony A7s. This weekend I will go up and try a whole 4 minutes subs, about the maximum recommended by Pixinsight for those darkish skies. I also have a new Ha filter, 12nm, it'll be real interesting what I can extract with ISO6400, sort of like binning..

That's impressive Simon!
Got me intrigued with the Sony A7, the HA regions are great.:)
Cheers,
Justin.

That's spectacular! The A7s is a serious piece of kit when modified.
Those sort of shots belong in the main forum.

Wow ! I'm getting technology envy
Wonder how much I can push the A77v ?
I reckon with darker skies it would show some real detail.
Now I've got to find somewhere I can try it.
And make a polar tracker ...
More projects ...
