Guys,
Picked up a Royal Astro mount, Im pretty sure its for a six inch but whats the diameter of a Royal 6" OTA . Inside cradle size is 7 1/2". An Astro Optical 6" fits in with thick rubber to take up extra space. Was the Royal Astro that much bigger on the outside?

I'm sure I've got some more info on Royal scopes somewhere. I remember The Amateur Astronomy Supply Co. sold them back in the 1960's and 70's, they were considered to be a high quality amateur telescopes along side Polarex/Unitrons. at least optically.

Steve,
Thanks, I have an LN-4 under resto, the mount appears to be a LN-6, if you find a LN-10 in the back shed send it my way? more realistically if anyone sees a LN-6 OTA let me know.
Here is a complete one...
