Here is my latest image, work in progress. Its 5 hours of half hour subs from a single night. I have over sharpened it, and would have spent far more time if I had more data to play with.

I will be adding to this over the summer to create a monster image, but the HH is one object I prefer in black and white so it will likely not get any colour added.

Beautiful work, Peter. Very contrasty and dramatic. You can just make out Alnitak's companion within the glare of the primary.

That's looking fantastic Peter.
Those dark areas are so hard to get & you've got them.
The only improvement I can see is a more careful
stretch of the Flame Nebula as some of the fine detail is blown out.

cheers

Cheers mate!

Thanks Greg, thats what I was going for!

Thanks Dave

Thanks Graeme, hopefully get to see you soon with school being finished.

Thanks Allan, I really want to get the dusty bits below the curtain popping! so hence wanting to get lots of data. When I have that I will be far more careful with it.

Cheers Mike!

Im glad you like the mono! I prefer it myself too

Cheers, it is encouraging to get such a positive response this far into the project.

Cheers Rick much appreciated!

See if I cant find more with longer integration!
