Has anyone experience with the Fuji X mount 18 - 135mm zoom. And is anyone thinking of selling aforementioned lens?
I read that the lens has superb optical stabilization and is clear and sharp as with the other Fuji lenses?
Many thanks,
Rowland.

I have several XF lenses but not that one. All Fuji lenses are up there with L glass Canon and Zeiss. Some a tad better than others but they are all superb.
This is a newer lens and I read about the 5 stop optical stabilisation. I don't think it would be very useful for astro work though only terrestial.
For nightscapes the XF14mm 2.8 is hard to beat. I tiny bit of coma in the top corners but the rest is perfect. Small, light and sharp.
The 10-24mm F4 is probably also very very good for astro although F4 is getting a bit dim and would need a Polarie to make up for no F2.8.
The Rokinon/Samyang 12mm F2 is supposed to be excellent. There is an X mount version of it.

Thanks Greg. I am interested in a walk around lens for holidays and such.

I've just bought the 55-200.
Sharp, but the AF is slow, especially in low light - definitely not in the same league as a DSLR. I certainly prefer carrying the Fuji rather than the D800 on family holidays though.

I have an XE-1 (on recommendation from astroboy/Zane and Greg Bradley) the kit lens is pin sharp and a joy to use (18-55 f2.8-4)
Feel free to borrow the lens and camera Rowland, just pm me.

Thanks Bo.
I've had an X Pro1 for a while and would love to upgrade to the X-T1, but that will have to wait.
