Hi all,

I have a Celestron 80mm refractor for sale. 900mm focal length, 1.25" focuser, 1.25" diagonal, objective lens & focuser dust caps, but no finder or eyepieces. In good condition.

Asking $60, pick up from Maroubra. Happy to post, though at buyers expense.

Thanks for looking,

Alex.

Just a comment...
These 80mm f11 refractors make perfect "donor" scopes for the PST mod.
- I used one myself!!

Thanks Ken. I appreciate such input, :)

Digging around I found 25mm eyepiece I didn't know I had. I'm happy to include it with the OTA. So all up it is the OTA with a diagonal and eyepiece.

I'll upload a couple of pictures shortly.

Cheers,

Alex.

What about shipping to 6149 in WA?

Pictures added. Will look at e-go.com.au for cost of shipping to Tassie and WA.

I've approximated the packaged scope's parameters as being:

weight: 4kg
parcel dimensions: 110cmX12cmX12cm

Doing this with e-go.com.au, road freight from Sydney depot to your door:

Tassie - $25.20 (5 - 7 days)
WA: $11.22 (2 - 3 days)

I hope this helps.

Alex.

Note: The tube rings shown on the scope are a DIY set. They work, and will be included with the scope if you want them.

Can I have it? Unless the other guy has beaten me to it...

PM me for bank details and I will send my address.

Hi Mokusatsu, I need to wait for Trevor to see what he says first. If Trev passes it up, then it's yours, :)

Cool, well if Trevor passes I'm definitely wanting this. I have a mount already, several high quality eyepieces and do not require a finderscope, so it's just what I was after for a "pack and go" scope!
