Could you get a quote from a courier to deliver the cam in the Gold Coast or alternatively to Pretoria where I will pick it up in May (I would have loved it earlier though).

Ah, a fellow South African. I've heard that the Gold Coast quite a nice area to live. I'm jealous.

I have sent 2 similar sized items to Australia last year which cost R275.00 each via Registered airmail.
Both items got to their recipients within 5 weeks.
R275 equates to around the USD 25.00 mark, so let's say USD 25.00 for postage via registered airmail.

If you're keen, then let me know the delivery address and how you would like to pay.
I have accounts at most local banks and also have a Paypal account. (buyer pays the Paypal fees)

Sorry for the late response but I have been out and about and very busy lately. I have also been hesitant because I notice that this specific model has been discontinued and was hoping for a major advancement in technology with a price drop (but it seems it is not going to happen and the US$ is getting stronger by the day).
