here is a stack of some of the shots - if i did them all it was blown out.

doing lightning shots in daylight is hard, but i am genuinely jealous of those in Sydney today where they got some brilliant shots of the storms

wow! The single shot is superb, and the timelapse is lovely for seeing the evolution of the storm structure - very impressive

How are you stacking them, Dave? I stack lightning shots In PS with combination mode "lighten" so only those pixels that are lighter than the previous layer are added.;)

Do you have any neutral density filters? They're great for extending your exposures in daylight. I usually stack and ND 4 and an ND8 and then use the intervalometer. Although these days I have adjustable ND filters (actually two polarising filters that you can rotate w.r.t. each other so I can dial up whatever exposure duration I want. Haven't used hem yet on lightning, just long exposures of waterfalls and rapids.

Great result from the stack David, and like the single frame. Love the look of lightning sending out 'feelers' for a circuit.
