Hi guys...My dad is a science teacher at milton high scjool..His year 11 physics class are currently studying the sun...he wants to do some prac observations...i have a filter for my newt, but he just wants to do something like a projection with some lenses or something...does anyone know of a simple SAFE technique??he has acces to various photography lenses and bino's..but no scope...aby tips would be sweet...

Hi *crazy, I suggest you buy some solar film n cover one of the bino's objective lens' with it. Use the binos cap/cover to block off the other objective. Use a sheet of off white paper taped to a stiff cardboard sheet as your viewing area. Place on your tripod & position the viewing sheet on a chair or ???
I found this works very well. Cheap too.
I made one for the last solar eclipse & had most of the visitors lining up to take pics off/of it. :shrug:
