This GSO 16" Dob is two years old and has served me well. These scopes made by GSO are excellent middle - range instruments that are ideal for cruising around the sky staring at galaxies, comets, the moon and planets.
The optics are very good; you can score either very good or very crap optics sometimes from these mass produced scopes and this set is the former. THe scope itself is in very good condition and has been well looked after.
The base has, as they all do, including the Meade Lightbridge, got a touch distorted with moisture and I have modified it by inserting extra layers of plastic sliding material.
Also included is a Telrad Finder which is essential for this scope - forget the finderscope - stick to the Telrad!
I'm asking $1300 - a bargain!;)
