Interesting collection Rolland, Grouse shots also.
I only know what half them are - the 1st , no idea, maybe a seed pod & never seen a bird looking like an eagle with a beak like that ? ?

I believe it's an immature Pacific Gull. As adults the're white bodied with black wings & a yellow bill. They retain that red tip and the dark stripe on the bill.

Yes. It's an immature Pacific Gull. A dead Cuttlefish at the waters edge kept him circling.

Thanks. #1 and #2 and the Bee with a Fuji X 60mm with 26mm extension tube. #3 Canon 200mm f2.8L USM. The remainder with a Canon 24 - 70mm zoom, as I recall. I have since sold the last two lenses.
