I came across this photo of the Orion Nebula in a magazine recently.

It was taken by Paul Haese in 2005.

I thought it was worth posting alongside his recent, award-winning and mind blowing photo of the same region.

As Paul Kelly says, from little things, big things grow.

You're an inspiration Paul (Haese) and clearly demonstrate what sticking with it can achieve!!

Wow, those distinctive fingerprint swirls seem to have disappeared from the nebula during the last decade.

Im not exactly sure how much Nebulae changes in an amount of time. Probably depends on its distance?
