Plato crater taken with iphone Webster 28" f4.2 10mm Ethos and Paracorr II. The seeing was fair. Can't wait to try on a really good night.

that's a great close up with the eyephone barry. :thumbsup: its a lot tougher to take when you're 'zoomed' on the moon vs full disc.

Ha ha Barry! Soon you'll be hooked on imaging and figuring out how to get a vdeocamera onto it to get some higher resolution. Looks like the websters optics are up to the job too. Very impressive.

I'll swap your Unitron for my Questar :P. One more swing at Paraburdoo and then it's full on Dobfest. I hope this cirrus packs up and leaves. If I'm lucky that Mark IV Astro Systems Video camera I've had on order since March might finally show up.

That's a fine result and a nice big scope. Congrats on Sirius B too, your scope would work really well with planets and small bright planetary nebula. Using a DMK for planets and a GStar-Ex for pnebula. At 28" seeing is biggest problem.
