Wanted: EQ5 (or similar) Field Tripod

Hi All,

I am after a heavy duty field tripod for a Vixen GP mount (head). The Vixen GP is equivalent to the EQ5, CG5, and similar clones and I am quite happy to use a compeditors / clone product.

What I am after is the tripod (I have the head), a heavy duty tripod, 2" tubular legs (or similar) that can be raised to a reasonable height (I am sick of kneeling). So if anyone has one they want rid of please let me know. Even just the legs would probably do as I could replace the lighter / shorter ones I have now....

I got tripod legs from GSO Sky View 1 and accessory tray for sale.
I don’t know if it would be suitable for your application. $45 + postage.
Or pick up if you live in Sydney ( Western suburbs)

I have no idea if the GP will mount on the GM8. I am currently looking on the net to see if its possible, and also to see the specs of this mount.

I seriously doubt there will be a readily available adaptor. It would be simple to fabricate though. Worth considering anyway.
