This is my first time posting an image here on iceinspace. -- here goes.

I had the chance to do a quick bit of imaging from Brisbane last Saturday night before Orion was lost behind my house.

Scope used was a William Optics GTF 102mm on an Ioptron IEQ30.

Did not have time to set up the guide scope so just did short 20sec exposures, 60 all up. Camera set at ISO800.

Stacked in DSS and further processed in Photoshop.

Hi Phil,
I have an EM-1 I've been planning to use on a scope and your posting caught my eye. Well done. You have a lot more data in that image than you may think. There are plenty of people with better claims to image processing fame than I but I thought I might just give yours a bit of a push around with Photoshop in the hope that you might feel able to have another go yourself. It's all part of the learning curve.

Have fun either way.

Thanks Marc. I am really impressed such a small sensor was able to capture so much detail.

Peter.. I stopped any further processing as it introduced too much noise.. but I appreciate the effort.

Nice looking capture Phil.

The new Olympus sensors have got the quality.

Good luck.

Ross.
