I continue to add narrowband data to this mosaic. Here's a bit of H-alpha presented in negative form.

Sorry John - solar shots should be posted in the solar system group, not deep space ;):P (... and I'd be a little worried if the Sun looked like that! :scared:)

What a great way to present this image!! Love it! In fact, it's so novel in negative the APOD folks might want to see that. What's your plan for the image - tri-colour NB?

Cheers, Marcus

Great pic but I'd like to see a rectangular frame.

Yeah, that looks pretty cool John, very nice work. Love negative shots of the LMC since seeing a few UK Schmidt contact print negs nearly 3 decades ago in storage at Mt Stromlo

Thanks Mike. I think they have something like this up at the UK Schmidt too. Those are Ha plates to die for.

Thank you Steve.

Thank you Peter.

Hmmmm, the star factory looking like a star.

Well one does exist, but it is a positive rendition on the Gigapan viewer. http://www.gigapan.com/gigapans/143387

Hi Marcus, Yes TC NB is in the works. Taking forever. I only have one FSQ running.

Hey John, I recon you should name this image "The Magellanic Sun" :)
