I have the best every book on Astronomy which I reiceved as an Xmas gift last year. It's called 'Universe' and has EVERYTHING you could think of!

There are some topics in that book that I want to read about in more detail and wanted to ask if anyone can recommend me some good books. Topics include:
- Time travel
- Black Holes & Wormholes
- Size of the universe
- Theories on multi-universes
- Planet X and other possible words/civilisations

Also any other similar topic that I haven't covered.

Thanks!

One I can recommend, strictly not astronomy but it helps to understand a lot is "Why does E=mc2" by Brian Cox and Jeff Forshaw. It is a laymens guide to relativity and very well written and only requires basic maths to comprehend.

Brian Greene - The Fabric of the Cosmos
Penguin Books

Reasonably involved for a general layperson but fairly easy to follow for someone with an interest in the subject.

Black Holes and Time Warps by Kip S. Thorne is an interesting read. Not sure if it is still in print though.
