My first time back here for a while. I've just invested in a Samyang 2.8mm and this is the first image - D700, f2.8 ISO6400, 30sec.
I managed to excuse myself from the party raging behind me (hence the lights) to grab the camera out the back of the car and rattle off this shot, before I was dragged back into the merry, happy fray. By the time I got out again, the clouds had come across (that's lightning over Wangaratta to the left of pic, Albury lights in the distance straight ahead.

Now, can I ask those who use this lens and results inspired me to buy it (Mike Salway etc) if the sharpness on the edge of shot is what they expect, or did I end up with a dud. I'm disappointed with the "blur" around Jupiter. I've attached the screenshots here at 1:1
