Hi All

I captured this eruption event on the 18th of November. The unexpected surge of the prominence highlighted my less than perfect framing and unfortunately I missed the upper part of the prominence as it lifted off. Also some cloud caused about a 30 minute gap.

Main lesson learnt, always give yourself plenty of framing space above a prominence

Animation consists of about 80 frames at 2 minutes apart.

The clip can be found at my OneDrive URL here: Solar Prominence Eruption (http://1drv.ms/1v4U8pz)

Please be patient as the clip takes about 30-45 seconds to load. Thanks for looking.

yeah its a bugger when that happens, before I shut up shop for a while I managed to get some full frame shots on time lapse and over the 4 hour period I managed to get in 15 minutes a massive explosion liftoff. never would have got it close up. I Like what you got there
