Only 35 mins of subs between the clouds last night.
SONY A7v DSLR ISO 3200 @ 30Secs through Wratten C80A filter.
Lunt on EQ6 unguided. DSS and PixBuilder Studio
Really needs a lot more data but weather is not being cooperative.

You have managed to capture some colour in the core Brent and some of the structure. Will help with more data once the weather decides to be friendly. Have you tried pushing the subs a bit longer?

Hi Rodney, yes, I fiddled with both ISO settings and exposure length but LP starts to become a real problem. I took some early images without the C80A filter and they were just pink from the LP. The Camera is not modded. I should splash out and buy a 2" CLS CCD filter or something but it's a heap of $$$ I can't really afford at present.
If I can get one of our cooler southerly breeze nights later on when it is in the more western sky I should be able to get better results. The southerly tends to blow clean cold air and blows away all the dust and moisture.
I'm also readying the cooled ASI 120 which can be IR sensitive to have a go soon. I have a 1.25" CLS for that as an option.
