I bought a second hand Vixen focal reducer for the VC200L but it doesn't have the adaptor with it and they don't sell them anymore without buying a whole new FR-(270$).
I just need the bit that the focal reducer screws into that screws into the vixen draw tube. Then the other adaptor should fit on the back of this camera side?

I used to have a VC200L (late 1990’s) and the Vixen F6.4 Reducer (original model).

One end (telescope side) of the F6.4 Reducer simply screwed into the 60mm thread of the VC200L drawtube and I then used a Vixen 60mm Wide Adapter on the other (camera) end which offered a T-Ring for my Pentax 35mm SLR.

My Astro Shop has these on their website.

Vixen Wide Photo Adaptor 60mm - General Type (http://www.myastroshop.com.au/products/details.asp?id=MAS-053G)($62)

Vixen Wide Photo Adaptor 60mm - Canon EOS (http://www.myastroshop.com.au/products/details.asp?id=MAS-053H)($69.95)

Is it one of these that you are looking for?

Cheers

No mate, the original fittings for reducer compose of a circular ring and then another bit which attaches the reducer to the drawtube- this is the bit that is missing as without it the FR lens is too small to screw in

see the wider portion? that is what I need- it is basically two different diameter small cylinders but unfort' I only have the bottom part

thanks mate

I just had a look at a data sheet that I must have downloaded from Vixen North America for my VC200L and Reducer.

I have marked the missing ring that I think you are looking for.
