Nov 17. Remember the monster sunspot group AR2192 that transited the Sun in October this year. It has moved around the back of the Sun and returned on the eastern side again. It has been renumbered AR2209 (since all groups get a new number as they appear on the eastern limb). I managed to take this picture of it today. Single exposure with Canon 550d thru a WO 81 mm scope and Herschel wedge. This group appears to have lost some of its size. Thanks for viewing.

I managed a couple of pics this morning, but unfortunately the sun is behind trees right now. Still... they turned out better than I expected considering I had to focus behind branches. Maybe I will manage to take a couple of pics later...
