A Lazy Request - please help me identify these filter positions

Hi All,

Just because I can't be bothered taking it all apart and seeing if the carousel mounted filters have writing on them, can anyone help me identify which filter is in which position in my 7 position wheel please?

They are Baader filters if this helps.

I think from 1-7 they are: L, B, R, G, Ha, OIII, SII but I really am not sure about the Narrowband ones (or any of them really)

Any ideas please?

Hi Chris,
If you point them against the light through the filter wheel opening by manually rotating them you will notice following:

1. LRGB will be lighter to look through and will pass more light and will show the corresponding color

2. Once you have identified LRGB the rest is HA, SII, O3

3. Ha and S2 both will be reddish that will make identifying O3 easier.

4. In my eye S2 should look darker but that might depend on various things!

Boy - you must be a heavy hitter! My 4 give me enough headaches: (narrow-banders seen to look all the same - shiny - in an open wheel).

Yep, all in for me Mel, I had to snap up a fully loaded 7 position wheel when it came up, now to just figure out which one is which,
