Hey everyone does anybody know of any good areas with low light pollution near brisbane? I know mt cotton and jacobs well are pretty good but is there any better spots or advice

To get any where reasonable, you probably have to drive about an hour or so away from Brisbane (at least).
If you check this forum: http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=16 you'll see some locals offer access to their properties for new moon nights. Their locations might lead you to similar areas you could use as well.

Cambroon and 10 Chain Hill observatories located north of Brisbane open their doors regularly for people to come and observe and image on their grounds. :)

Thanks for the replies everyone i love this site you are always really helpful scoped out a few nice places near mt Sampson so going to try them out next week.
