For those who remember my son's favourite habit........

Well the little bugger has a small problem, he is peeing far too much and too little. We spent most of yesterday at the john hunter hospital and tomorrow I have to get him a full ultrasound and and appointment for a urologist specialist. no I haven't any voodoo dolls or pins;) . I truly feel sorry for the little beggar, he trots off every 30-90 minutes and has to go regardless. this has lead to a interesting scenario that has seen him leaving a mark for his territory over most of the yard, and a good knowledge of toilets between wallsend and Belmont!

PS I have put a temporary sign on the toilet door saying Bradleys room!

Has anyone else with kids experienced something like this?

Sounds similar to a friends son hOughy
I don't recall the condition by name nor am I about to play be the doctor
Don't worry to much about him mate If it was believed to be a
serious condition he would of seen the urologist straight away .

In my friends case his son did need some treatment .. I do recall the problem was reasonably common ..again don't worry to much he will be fine :)

I'm familiar with something similar with my boy h0ughy, though his problem was probably different. My lads prepuce had an extremely small opening (pin hole size) which caused the end to swell painfully during urination, and only allowed him to pass small amounts, which had to be done frequently, rather than emptying his bladder in one go. He need to be circumcised, which removed the problem all together. It was, up until that time, very uncomfortable and embarassing for him.

we know that that is not his problem, they ruled that one out at the JHH

we are thinking that is might be psychological problem, something to get attention, but will know that all other medical tests will be done so as to see if it is behavioural :whistle:

Hope everything works out just fine, I remember one of my younger brothers had a similar problem. All he could talk about for ages afterwards was being visited in hospital by some of the crew from a then popular TV show "The Army Game"
