Glatter Collimator SOLD

I took some of my first astro images with this scope, but doesn't get any use any more. Has been sitting in my shed for the past 3 years or so. Needs a little work on it, but nothing major.

The primary mirror clips have been removed, and the mirror siliconed to its cell. Primary springs have been replaced with really heavy duty ones. Made collimating a lot quicker, and holds very well. Has a 12V primary cooling fan, which just needs a plug fitted to the wires.

Will include my 1.25" Glatter laser collimator and holographic Tube Lug for an extra $80

The OTA and mirrors are in good condition. The top rim and finder has a little flaky paint, can't find the lens cap for the finder either, and the focuser will need replacing.

Losmandy plate is NOT included in the sale.

Have attached some images taken through it also.

Thinking maybe $200 for the OTA only, or $280 with the collimator.

The Website has been misbehaving when I tried to send this, so apologies if you're getting a second identical message.

I'm very interested in buying your scope, but just had a few queries (None of them deal breakers, more just wondering if I'll have to buy a few items to go with it.) 1: You clearly say that the Losmandy plate is not included, but are the tube rings? 2: You say that the focuser needs replacing. What's the problem with it? 3: It seems in one of the pics that there's a 2" to 1.25" eyepiece adaptor in place. Is that included?

The $200 price you're suggesting sounds great! You mention that you might be able to bring it to Melbourne in the next few weeks. I'm in Pascoe Vale, which is a bit North in Melbourne suburbs (about 10 km from the CBD). I'd be happy to pay $35 for you to bring it up here.

So, I guess, let me know what you think.

I suddenly worried that I might have misunderstood what you were saying about bringing the scope to Melbourne. I took it to mean that you're coming to Melbourne anyway, but if it's a special trip you're talking about, I'd certainly pay more.
