Can anyone confirm or deny

Dont know about 2013, but in 2012 on November 13 there is a total solar eclipse. Central line not far from there but you are within the totallity line.

Totality at Cairns is from 6:38 am to 6:40 am on 14/11/2012.
Northern limit on the coast is 15.8 deg S
Southern limit on the coast is 17.5 deg S
