This is my longest project at the moment - almost 6 hours in total. Tiny background galaxies are starting to appear as well in NGC 6744. Imaged on Skywatcher ED100 + 0.85x Reducer/FF, NEQ6 Pro mount, Pentax K3 Guided by Orion 80mm Shortscope + SSAG + PHDGuiding 2.

You've got some nice detail starting to come through there Mike, Well done mate. A slight blue cast over the whole image on my screen here, were you using a CLS filter by any chance? Looking at the size of the main galaxy it would probably still fit in the frame without the 0.85 reducer you have used here. I guess then you would have lost the surrounding background galaxies. Great shot, looking forward to seeing more.

Nice shot of a difficult target. Don't know how I would go with this one at home.
