Gone too soon. I'm just glad Creme had their reunion and all was well again between those three.

Sad, he was very under-rated due to working with Clapton who got most of the glory. It was his and Bakers jazz roots which gave Cream that particularly British style pyschedelic sound.

If you had to bet just by looking at them you would have to pick Ginger Baker, he has worn that worn out, craggy, coke fuelled face with its bottomless pits etched out by acid eyes for decades.

An embarrassing confession. For many years as an adolescent and as a young adult in the sixties, I thought that the distinctive vocalist on most the biggest of Cream's hits was Eric Clapton. Of course, it was really Jack Bruce and what a phenomenal contribution he made. He had the vocal dexterity to complement Clapton's guitar.

Lol I'm sure you're not the only one Ian, in the days before you could watch them on YouTube, and they were not exactly "pop" stars that you'd see on TV shows. Although I think they are credited as being the first "super group".
