Only saw the last bit of it on Channel 7 news just now,and was a mad scramble to find un muye button.

But it was the balloon project from around Cecil Plains, that fell to earth and was lost for some time.

Hope you get more coverage! Well done!

Oh thanks fellas!

Have no idea how all this really happened.

I don't exactly see how my home brew projects and having fun is supposed to be news worthy, I'm sure many others people on here do a lot more impressive stuff!

The but the ABC fella (Peter Gunders) sure did a pretty nice job putting it together though, good on him.

Being on the news is a bit of a new experience for me that's for sure.

Cheers
Jo

I didn't see the item, but I'd prefer news like this than what we normally get. Maybe you'll inspire others to follow in your footsteps.

Thanks Chris, that's nice of you to say.

If you did want to see it, it is on the ABC website as has Eric posted earlier.

That is one of the best bits of reporting on our hobby I have seen. Highlighting a young fella with a real passion, talking about the facts with no hyperbole, UFOS or other stuff.
Well done to the reporter, the ABC and especially Jonah and his family.
