View Full Version here: : NGC7293 Helix in Ha
Not a patch on some of the brilliant images popping up here but its my take on this fascinating object.
54 subs at 600sec captured with an STL6303E, astrodon Ha 5nm filter and a GSO RC8. Processed through CCD Soft and PI with a tweak in PS to cover up an odd stacking artifact

Yes, some great detail there, David.
Thanks for the comments gents, much appreciated
Thanks for the comment and the point on sub length. Now I have some OAG issues sorted out then I will be going longer on the NB.

You should be very happy with that David - details look pretty good to me! Colour?
Cheers, Marcus
Thanks gents. This is the first time I have used the MMOAG in anger and am stunned at the difference. I only ditched 1 sub out of the original 55, the guiding was very consistent over the 2 nights I was imaging.
Thanks Marcus, I am happy indeed. There is colour but I scored ridiculous reflections from a Street lamp off my all sky camera plastic dome ( now relocated  ) and after stacking the results were pretty bad. I could get away with it on the HA but only after an aggressive crop. When I saw what was in the Ha stack I decided to park colour till next year and leave the ha standing in its own right.
