I currently own a 130mm Reflector and think it would be good for some basic Solar imaging. What would i need to get into some basic but nice and decent photography.

To get started in solar imaging you need a couple of things:
An effective solar filter - the cheapest way is the Baader Solar film.
If this is secured over the front aperture (and a piece used on the front of the finder!!) you can image in "white light". This will show the sunspots and surface granulation.
A video/ webcam type camera which can take a AVI file of short exposure images (to freeze the seeing conditions) and Registax software to stack the best frames to make the final image. I use a DMK41 and DMK51 camera.
Hope this helps.
