Philips 880nc

Hi just bought a Philips spc 880nc using it on a 12" light bridge connected to laptop with sharp cap , viewing the moon but too bright couldn't make out any craters etc just after some suggestions , cheers Brendan

Hi Brendan, I've got one too, flashed to SP900nc whiich I intend to use as a guide camera. Sharpcap will give you exposure control I would have thought but another option might be to put a visual moonfilter on the camera nose ( it should be threaded for it ).
Haven't tried it but another excellent camera software is FireCapture, again free. It will be a bit limited by the camera drivers capabilities, get the SPC 900nc W7 version.
