Inspired by Greg's "Infinity" image (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=125509) I tried for a pano during the recent lunar eclipse. Instead of a dramatic Eye of the Universe effect all I could manage was a smiley face - the moon and Small Magellanic Cloud are the 'eyes'. I've also shown it processed inside-out as a small planet. The glow below the Milky way is the lights of Townsville in the distance.
Looks like I'll have to wait until next year to try again for the Eye as the Milky Way is setting too early now.
