Purchased this brand new approximately 9 months ago for a telescope which in the end I didn’t buy and it has been in storage ever since.
As I can recall the box has been opened twice. The first time was when I purchased it to check the diagonal was inside and the 2nd occasion was to compare it with my original much older Televue 1.25 diagonal (ie I have two so I am selling this new one and keeping my older original).
I think it worthwhile to briefly explain why this is the most expensive and IMHO the absolute best 1.25 diagonal you can buy.
1) Televue quality control which means the mirror in each diagonal is ‘genuinely’ tested
2) The diagonal body is made from a 1 piece machined block of aluminium. What this means is that, for example, you can place your $750 13mm Ethos or your $1k+ 12.5mm Docter into the diagonal and be 100% confident that the diagonal nosepiece wont twist, unscrew and drop your eyepiece onto the ground
3) The diagonal body is specifically bored out to suit the Televue 24mm Panoptic to ensure you get the full fov. Every other 1.25 diagonal I have tried vignettes a 24Pan
4) The diagonal nose piece is machined to be perfectly cylindrical and thus will be a flush grip with an OTA compression ring. Many of the mass produced Chinese 1.25 diagonals have tapered nose piece and thus do not perfectly lock together
Brand new price from Bintel $259 + 15 Shipping

This diagonal is indistinguishable from a brand new one from the store with every piece of packaging/paperwork etc from Televue.
Asking $210 including shipping anywhere in Australia
