Here is the Neander Plateau in the southern highlands of the Moon. The crater in the middle (on the plateau) is Neander. To the lower right is Piccolomini. South is at the top.

31 cm Newtonian at f/28. SkyNyx 2.1M. Wratten 25A filter.
Frames stacked using 41 MAP points with Registax 4beta.
August 12, 2006. Seeing 6/10 (ALPO scale).
