The Moon

Hey just wanted to see what you think of my moon shot I took last night. Shot using a 300mm lens, 2x teleconverter and Sony NEX 6. It's just one shot with some processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. I'd love some feedback so please let me know how I can improve on this.

I'm keen to get into some more of the wide field astrophotography as I've seen some amazing stuff using DSLR's and regular lenses (no telescope for me just yet :P) But since we have the eclipse happening tonight, I thought i should try and get some practice in of the moon with my tele lens.

That's an awesome shot of the moon - precise focus and wonderful detail. Welcome to the forum, I can't assist you with ideas to improve the shot the way you took it. You should be very happy with a result like that.
