6" Solar Filters (One sold!)

For sale one 6" Thousand Oaks solar filter (off centre), brand new never used, still in the original plastic bag. Asking $75 which includes postage.

Does it fit skywatcher 150p? (6 inches) and if it can be used as taking photo of the sun?

Hi,

It should fit. The filters are for 6 inch newts. I'm not sure about taking photos, I've never tried it. I don't see why not. :shrug:

Hi John, can you measure the inside diameter of the solar filters? I have a Schmidt-Newtonian 6" that could use one of these. I measured my front cell, it is about 181mm in diameter - if ok, please reserve one for me.

The inside diameter is 184 mm. That's measuring inside the strip of felt.
