I received my new PC this week. A Dell XPS 8700 with 16GB ram, 32GB cache a 2GB graphics card and a whopping 2TB disk drive. It boots up and loads programs as quickly as my SSD based laptop. Quite impressed.
Finally, Photoshop CC runs flawlessly. On my 32 bit system laptop it was constantly giving me out of ram errors on the simplest edits.
I touched up an old image I took at one of the Pony Club observing nights. I brought out the dark lanes and nebulae a bit. I think it looks a little better then the original.

This is a stacked image taken with a Canon 7D and Tokina 11-16mm at F2.8 tracked on a Polarie. It was a pretty hazy night too.
I took my first exposures of the Northern Milky Way over the weekend around the Cygnus region. It just doesn't compare
