FOR SALE - WILLIAM OPTICS FLT132 TRIPLET APO REFRACTOR
I have a just serviced William Optics FLT132 Triplet Apochromatic refractor for sale
Aperture is a high power 132mm and the focal length is f7 and is 924mm
The optics in this telescope are excellent but you expect this from this telescope
The body has some very minor surface marks, as this is a used telescope, but no tube dings or damage, and is in perfectly capable condition
This is one of the older series FLT132's, before they changed to the rotating Crayford focuser which caused some users around the world some issues, which IMHO was a step backwards from this the original design where the back of the focuser rotates just in front of the diagonal, and is IMHO a better performer and design
Images show the optic in detail, which is in fully capable condition with it's multi coatings totally intact and all Ok, and has also just been optical bench collimated. I have tested it, and it's performance mechanically is sound, and optically the performance is as expected - excellent :)
This unit suits someone wanting an excellent capability 5 inch Apo at a bargain price
Supply includes original William Optics tube rings and original William Optics hard case, and in original William Optics packaging
These units today are supplied with a soft case which is nowhere near as good as this William Optics hard case, and are priced at around the $6k mark
Price $ 3,000
Shipment available nationally by courier at extra cost
Thanks for looking
