Hi All
Having just got a new replacement lens cell for my ES 127mm CF refractor, I tried my first serious light white imaging with it.
Attached is an image showing a sunspot grouping surrounded by lovely granules. These granules are convective cells moving material upwards in the centres of the cells and downwards on the darker edges.
Image taken yesterday using a DMK23U274 camera and 3x barlow. Image can be accessed on my skydrive link here: Solar Granules Image (https://onedrive.live.com/?cid=26023a823607a115&id=26023A823607A115%21118&v=3&ithint=photo,jpg&authkey=!ANQhGDOjDaIheOc)
Thanks for looking.
Ted
