Hi to all

We're having an amazing spell of clear weather here. I took advantage of it last night by imaging NGC7793, a galaxy I've barely touched in the past because of trouble finding guide stars. I think I needed to collect more photons but it didn't seem to come out too badly.

Cheers

Steve

Nice image, Steve!

I collected a few hours of data on 7793 the last couple of new moons but I was hoping for more before I wrapped it up. This area is just chock full of smaller galaxies too.

Cheers,
Rick.

Gorgeous. Beautiful beast, lovely, meaningful core-versus-spiral-arm colour, and lots of background faint fuzzies.

Looks like the issues you were having with that scope are sorted, at least for this image anyway (?) and I like the processing on this one Steve, you got it right I recon  I've seen Ricks version as well and it's a beauty too ;)

That looks very good Steve. A hard one to image and you've done it well.

Greg.

Thanks Andre

Thanks Greg. It shouldn't be hard but is. I think it's the poorly positioned guide stars.

Thanks Mike. I haven't seen Rick's but based on recent images of his I'm sure it's going to be great. I don't think the issues with my scope will ever be totally sorted. Part of the risk you take buying a second hand scope when the original manufacturer no longer exists.

Thanks. It is quite pretty.

Thanks
