Comet Oukaimeden looking great but getting hard to image in the twilight and with the crescent moon in the way. This is a quick process of tonight's imaging run. LRGB 180:60:60:60 L bin 1 RGB bin 2. QHY9 ED120. From Kingaroy, QLD.

Maybe the best image of this comet I've seen so far.
Awesome.

Is it visible from down south?

This is for my latitude but it may help. Don't expect it to be bright. It's just a little fuzz ball visually.

Thanks Kevin, much appreciated. I've been following your comet posts for quite a while and have been excited by your images of 2013 V5 and 2012 K1. Thanks for the inspiration.
Alan, I think the red is an artifact of the imaging process (RGB align on stars, then RGB align on comet, then superimpose and try to avoid fringing). I have a better repro on Astrobin that shows the colour of the comet more accurately. http://www.astrobin.com/124911/0/
Thanks guys
Probably, but very low in the sky. It's about 15-20 degrees above the horizon at sunset at my latitude.
I couldn't see it visually. Too hard to image now and details are getting washed out.
Cheers,
Tel
