Hi all,
This is probably a stupid question but I love to read the Australian sky and telescope magazine, but I was wandering if there was any other good ones I could get as I love reading, I did find one called astronomy but im pretty sure its American, would this be of any use to me??? Just wondering,
Thanks all
Dan

"Astronomy" is one of the biggest American magazines (see: http://www.astronomy.com/ )
along with "Sky and Telescope" (http://www.skyandtelescope.com/ )
There are a couple of nice British magazines:
"Sky at Night" (http://www.skyatnightmagazine.com/ )
and "Astronomy Now" (http://www.astronomynow.com/ )

These are available through Newsagents or subscription, all their sites have a lot of extra resources, and you can get most of them on line as well.

There are a couple of other on-line ones that you might enjoy:

- an Italian one that has just recently been make available to English readers: http://www.astropublishing.com/ (this is a freebie!)

- and Astronomy Technology Today (https://www.astronomytechnologytoday.com/ )

Have fun!

Astronomy Technology Today, mentioned by Dean, is not far off 100% advertising but it's still worth the US$10 subscription for 6 issues. Works out to approx $2 Aussie per issue

Hi Dan

I always enjoy "Sky at Night" when I see it on the news stands a bit sporadic though down my way.

It's good to have a read and see what the Northern hemisphere is up to. :)

The freebie Italian mag is excellent, good articles with plenty of pix and diagrams ... and only 1 ad at the end !!
Also downloadable, I see me building a 'library' of these on the PC at home.
Thanks
