It makes the point very well that with narrowband imaging, a doublet can do the job pretty darned well.

Good things about a doublet are that it is definitely cheaper and possibly lighter than a same-sized triplet, but using an OAG with a doublet is a real pain - adjusting focus after changing a filter de-focuses guide camera a fair bit. That is why I went back to using a guide scope, which in turns brings problems with a flex...
